Yes. Flood-damaged, total-loss and accident cars all have demand for parts or resale after repair, so they can be purchased for export.
Unlike scrapping, which is priced on scrap-metal value, export is priced on the value of the whole vehicle or its major parts, so you can receive a fairer price.
Please tell us the accident history accurately so that the quote is as exact as possible.
[Pricing] How is the export price determined?
The price reflects model, year, mileage, exterior condition, options and, above all, current demand and market prices in the destination country. The same car can be priced differently depending on the destination.
[Documents] What documents are needed to export a vehicle?
A vehicle registration certificate, ID and a copy of your bank book are the basics. We will guide you on any other documents, such as power of attorney, and we handle all the complicated paperwork for you.
[Payment] When do I get paid after handing over the vehicle?
Once the vehicle handover and documents are confirmed, payment is made on the same day in cash or by instant bank transfer.
[Destinations] Which countries do you mainly export to?
Our main markets are developing countries with strong used-car demand: Asia, the Middle East, Africa and South America. Popular destinations differ by model, so we quote based on prices in each country.
[Foreign owners] Can a vehicle registered to a foreigner be exported?
Yes, if the vehicle is properly registered in Korea and you can provide ID and proof of ownership. Tell us which documents you have in your first consultation and we will guide you through the process.
[Special vehicles] Can trucks and special-purpose vehicles be exported?
Commercial vehicles such as cargo trucks, dump trucks, wing-body and box trucks, and some special-purpose vehicles can also be purchased for export. Send us the vehicle details and we will provide a quote.
[Unpaid tax] Can I export if I have unpaid vehicle tax?
Arrears must be settled before the export deregistration. We guide you through the settlement process too, so please let us know in your first consultation.
[Cancellation] Can I cancel the export after signing the contract?
Before handover, it can be discussed. After handover it may still be negotiable up to a certain stage, but once the vehicle has been shipped it is difficult to retrieve.
[Restrictions] Which vehicles cannot be exported?
Vehicles with a theft history, seizure, mortgage, certain licences or special vehicle types may be restricted. We check eligibility in advance through a consultation.
